Endodontic Treatment

We offer Endodontics in our practice which is also known as root canal treatment.

If the nerve inside of the tooth becomes infected by decay or is damaged by cracks in the teeth it can become inflammed and cause pain or swelling.

If you are experiencing dental pain, you should seek a consultation with your dentist as soon as possible.

Root Canal therapy may take up to 3 appointments and includes the process:

  1. Removing the nerve from the tooth

  2. Cleaning and shaping the root canals and disinfect the canal with antibiotic dressings

  3. Filling the root canal with gutta percha root filling

We recommend placing a crown on root canal treated teeth as they are more dry and brittle than natural teeth and are more susceptible to fracture and breakage.
